Tips to Prep a Simple Dinner

Earlier in the week, we talked about how often we're going out to eat, citing it as a potential threat to our health and wallets. But we never talked about a solution!

Skillets can be a huge helper for busy people who still want to get a home cooked meal each night, and you can make them even easier!

Prepare in advance. Grab a big container to store your meal for tomorrow. Thaw and slice your meat. Chop up your veggies. Add your spices. Shake! Now, stick all of this into your fridge as a skillet pack. All you have to do is dump in a pan with some oil, and you have dinner!

Plan for error. Have a few uh-oh skillet packs prepped for days that just don't go you're way. This keeps you from emergency fast food runs or dropping off your healthy wagon.

Use the leftovers. The skillet leftovers from the night before make a great salad topping for the next day's lunch.

Dump things together. On the last few days before your next grocery shopping trip? Don't be afraid  to take your extra leftovers and meat and just saute them together. Skillets are so easy and versatile; they're the healthy man's casserole!

Chicken Stir Fry Skillet
Chop up chicken, carrots, and ginger. Saute in coconut oil until chicken is done. Sprinkle in some soy sauce (enough to slightly brown the chicken). Add water chestnuts, snap peas, and sliced cabbage. Saute until peas are bright green.
Enjoy!
