Lovely Lavendar

One of the most versatile essential oils, lavender has been prized for its analgesic, antiseptic, and antibiotic properties.

Historically, lavender’s healing abilities were used to cleanse the body and spirit of impurities. It has a wide variety of benefits such as relief of coughs, colds, restlessness, a nervous stomach, sleeplessness, anxiety, skin conditions, pain relief, lack of appetite, insect repellent, and to balance mood.

How can you use lavender? Drink it as a tea, add it water, diffuse its essential oils, mix it with coconut oil to slather on your skin, drop a few sachets around the house. The possibilities are endless!

Although it is most commonly used to promote sleep, lavender has been shown to increase sense of wellbeing and decrease anger, frustration, and anxiety.
